How we get paid

What's planned

Boards and managers who need a milestone inspection or a structural integrity reserve study priced will be able to send a building's facts to engineering and reserve-study firms that serve the area. The firms that take the request will pay us a flat fee for each one. The fee never depends on the size of the job or on who wins it. How requests will work for firms.

Before any request form exists, it will name the firms, say what they pay us, and ask for separate, unchecked consent to be contacted by them. We will say so on every page that carries one.

What we don't do

• We don't inspect, engineer, certify or advise. We're not a firm, and we don't list reviews or ratings of firms.
• We don't change what a building page says because of who pays us. A page exists because its public records do.
• We don't contact anyone. Requests start with you.
• We don't sell or share information about you. There are no forms on this site today.
